︎ LOS ANGELES, 2020

︎ A design exercise investigating the glass block as a medium for enabling new forms beyond its typical use case. Welded cold-rolled steel forms a framework that is inlaid with milled ash and alternating glass blocks. Deliberately preserved grout lines serve as an aesthetic throwback. Designed with the intention of fabrication in Spring 2020, a big world event made this plan... change.
